Baby fashion

I have to admit that when it comes to baby clothes I'm a tad obsessed!

If I go shopping for myself I always end up with nothing but Ava ends up with 1 or 2 items! I think this is a typical mummy problem! Anyway, for the new year I've decided to be strict with myself. She was lucky enough to receive a lot of clothes for Christmas so she's pretty much sorted until she's 2, (seriously)! Ava's very petite, and although she's almost 10 months old she still fit in her 6-9 month clothes. So we have a stack of things for her to grow into. We'll probably be here until she's 2 at this rate!

I'm quite particular in what I like my daughter to be dressed in, I like fashionable things but I'm on a budget so places like H&M and Primark are fab. I've also bought great things from supermarkets such as Asda and Tesco! My favorite shops are Zara baby and Next but it can get a bit expensive. (Topshop Mini is super cute aswell but I'd recommend checking the sales, expensive!) I would never buy any designer clobber for Ava, purely because she is in and out of it so quickly and would probably get it completly grubby! Although I saw the most amazing Fendi coat in Selfridges, literally the most beautiful coat I've ever seen, but at almost £200 I think it's a little out of my price range. A typical outfit for Ava would be jeggings, a cute top or and jumper and a pair of high tops. As she's crawling now I try to put her in trousers as often as I can, dresses aren't great for getting around.

I'm not really a fan of Disney based clothing, I'm a bit weird about this, Pjs and bodysuits I think look sweet but I don't really like it on anything else. With headbands and hairclips, they can look sweet but I've never had the urge to make Ava wear them, then again she doesn't really have any hair and what she does have sticks on end like a toilet brush!

Below are some of my favourite outfits of hers:
