Weekly Round-up #11

Wearing

I've decided to mix up this part of the post. I'll be honest, I don't usually buy new clothes for myself that often any more. A small blond girl with sticky hands and a cute little face usually makes me part with my money, so I thought I'd update you on what we've both been wearing.

I think that the weather gods heard all my moaning over the last few weeks because on Saturday we had sunshine! We still wore our coats outdoors but I pulled out my trusty customised Ramones vest top and went a bit OTT with the lipstick. MAC's Russian Red incase you were wondering. Excuse the derp face!

I've have also recently bought Ava these beyond adorable H&M dungarees, which I can't wait to get on her when it warms up a bit. The little shoes are a bit big at the moment and the duvet cover is part of her bedroom make-over which I can't wait to share with you guys once everything arrives!

Watching

I've not been watching anything lately. I've been reading. Yes, I can read! Amazing! Seriously, I've always loved a good book but since having Ava I just can't find the time to plonk myself down and read. However, last year I was told about a book called Beautiful Disaster. I read it, couldn't put it down. LOVED it! Last week the second book was bought out, Walking Disaster. I'd been waiting for so long for it to be released (even pre-ordering it!) and I'm enjoying it even more than the first. I've also found out that a film is going to be made! (cue fan girl scream) very excited. Seriously go read these books.

Thinking About
Nath and I are staying in Chester again in a couple of weeks, I'm really looking forward to it. Usually when we have a night away it's far from relaxing. We tend to get there late afternoon, get ready to go out, have dinner and drinks, get in late and are up early for a days shopping before heading home. So in hindsight it's pretty darn exhausting. This time we are heading just outside of Chester to a lovely spa hotel. We are going to relax, order some room service and maybe have some treatments...if I hint long enough... I'm looking forward to it.

Highlight of the week

Saturday was the highlight of my week for sure! Not only did the sun shine but as Nath was at the races I got to spend the whole day with Ava. We saw my dad & step-mum, went to the park, put some fresh flowers down for my brother and came home and went for a ride on her trike. I cherish those moments  and sometimes wish I could rewind them. So special.
