A Tour of Ava's Nursery

I've been wanting to put this post together for a while but with a combination of buying a Canon camera yesterday and being at home with a bad back today it felt like the perfect time to get this post up and running.

The photos are not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, I am no photographer and this was my first attempt at playing with my camera. I'm happy with the results and I think they do her bedroom justice. Ava's nursery is my favourite room in the house.

Her room is a mixture of primrose yellow walls, soft pinks and all white furniture with a mix of soft toys and Beatrix Potter.

I love adding little bits to her room, I'm currently on the hunt for a cute cushion for her armchair and a new lampshade. The latest addition to Ava's room is this gorgeous bookcase from Great Little Trading Company. I've only recently been aware of them and I absolutely love everything! Check them out, I'm sure you'll love them as much as I do.

Ava's cotbed is from Mamas & Papas, she loves her stuffed toys and we can often hear her chattering away to them when she wakes up in the morning.

We are very lucky to have very generous friends and family and Ava has been spoilt with some beautiful things.

The following gifts were from Not On The High Street which I think is a great website if you are looking for unique, personalised gifts.

So there you have it. I hope you enjoyed having a look around Ava's room.

I'd love to know what you think.

So beautiful! I love my baby's room the most in our house too, nurseries just have such a calm and loving vibe to them. Ava's room is beautiful! I'm thinking a hot pink and white polka dot cushion would look adorable... If you'd like one, I'd love to make one for her!?

Oh I love this Harriet! I wish it was my room. William used to have the most gorgeous nursery in our old house, but since we've moved we have had to make do while we do up the rest of the house. I have nursery-envy! xx

Thanks Charl, Ava had a crappy nursery in our old house as we weren't sure if she was going to be a boy or a girl it was all neutral. I've enjoyed girlying this room up. xx

Thanks Alex. I got a Canon 450D but got it for £179 including the 18-55mm lens as its second hand and the lense is manual xx
